Before you gather, find a nearby labyrinth. Build in travel time to and from the location.

A labyrinth is an ancient spiritual tool inviting participants to walk into the centre and out again in contemplative prayer. If you'd like, participants can use this printable resource during their prayer time.

What To Do

  • Read Psalm 16:11: “You show me the path of life. In your presence there is fullness of joy.”

  • As you walk inward, toward the centre of the labyrinth, find rest with God. Focus on abiding with him. Shed the distractions, become quiet, slow down, and listen receptively.

  • As you wind your way outward, attentively walk along the path, continually acknowledging his presence.

  • Reflect on the following questions:

    • What are you being asked to leave behind?

    • What does it mean for you to follow Jesus in this season?

    • How would greater closeness with God affect you?
