I learned that living missionally is not just on a mission trip, rather it is a lifestyle. This will stick with me.

PRAXIS is an opportunity to practise being a whole person who lives an integrated life.
You’ll experience a balance of actively engaging with spiritual development, meaningful missional engagement, and growth in community.
You’ll have ongoing opportunities to intentionally reflect and process with peers and P2C-Students staff.
And you’ll be equipped to show and share the gospel in unique contexts.
In a Canadian city, you’ll come alongside local partners who are showing and sharing who Jesus is to a variety of subcultures. Because you’re learning in a Canadian context, you can easily translate your experiences to your own city after PRAXIS.
PRAXIS is for those who want:
• More in their spiritual journey
• To live missionally through hands-on experiences of compassionate care and gospel witness
• To live in a community on mission
You’ll have time to simply be with God, exploring new types of prayer, reflecting on your life story, and establishing healthy spiritual rhythms.
You’ll live as a community, practising spiritual friendships, growing in integrity, and learning life skills as you serve and lead your teammates.
You’ll live out—and not just know about—the good news of Jesus. As you partner with local organizations, you’ll become aware of the breadth of God’s redemptive work in Canadian cities.
A typical weekly schedule will include three main components:
Being with God
You’ll build healthy spiritual routines to enrich your faith and be intentionally attentive to God. You’ll experience spiritual practices like stillness, play, and daily Examen.
These spiritual rhythms are integrated with missional activities, so you can learn to both show and talk about the good news of Jesus.
Growing in unforgettable community
You’ll be part of fostering an environment of trust and community. In that community, you will grow in your personal development, care, character, and contextualization of the gospel, for yourself and for others.
You’ll also grow as a leader, as you take opportunities to guide your teammates in worship, prayer, meals, missional activities, Bible studies, and team building.
Living missionally
Partner with local organizations serving vulnerable populations in your host city, bringing the good news of the gospel and helping hands to those in need.
Living missionally happens in every part of our lives. These opportunities will broaden your understanding of God’s redemptive work. They will allow you to wrestle with the fullness of God’s mission, the holistic and embodied nature of living as a witness, and the contextualization that’s needed in evangelism.
In past trips, this has looked like:
Helping newcomers to Canada
Witnessing to neighbours
Caring for creation
Engaging in Indigenous–settler reconciliation
Serving at-risk youth
Note: Trip cost includes housing, food, and mission trip activities. Participants will have the option to raise additional funds to cover their travel to Ottawa.
