God used me and my team to spread the gospel to students in a foreign country. This experience has made my faith in him stronger.

Enoch, 2023

Why go to Asia Coast?

Of the 100 million people in this country, only a few know Christ. There are millions who have no church exposure or a Bible of their own.

However, this country is rapidly opening up to the gospel. Students here struggle with many of the things that challenge Canadian students and are especially open to hearing a Christian perspective.

On this mission trip, you’ll partner with local Christians by attending their gatherings, building friendships and, together, sharing the good news of Jesus.

You'll also have the chance to take language and cultural classes at a local university, which will help you build meaningful connections with students through sports, beach hangouts, and English Corner times.

As you form friendships and share your life and faith, you’ll also partner with the small local Christian community—joining their gatherings and serving alongside them so they can continue walking with students long after the trip.

And you’ll be a part of a community living on a mission. Together with your team, you’ll learn to share the gospel in a culturally relevant way.

Pioneering

You’ll be able to share about Jesus in a country that has only had freedom of belief for a few decades. And you’ll help build trust in a relatively new global partnership.

Encouragement

You’ll support local student leaders and you’ll be inspired by their passion. You’ll see what God is already doing in Asia Coast, including enjoying the beauty of this country.

Relationships

You’ll make local friends and you’ll live in community with your team. And you will grow in your relationship with God, especially as you rely on the Holy Spirit in a new culture.

What happens on the Asia Coast mission trip?

You’ll come alongside our local Christian partners to develop genuine friendships with local students who don’t yet know Jesus.

In these relationships, you’ll create opportunities for people to hear the gospel.

You’ll learn together with your team, as you engage cross-culturally in ministry, friendship, and life.

A typical weekly schedule will include:

  • Team-building

  • Praying and studying the Bible

  • Attending the local Christian students’ fellowship and a local church

  • Building friendships with locals by having picnics, going to cafes, playing sports, etc.

  • Being mentored by a P2C staff member

  • Resting and adventuring

  • Helping host English clubs; many local students are eager to practise English with fluent speakers like you!

How is the Asia Coast mission trip funded?

The cost of each Mission Trip includes international airfare, orientation, all ministry-related expenses, debrief, in-country transportation, housing, meals, and administration.

Once accepted, we will provide coaching and training on how to invite people to financially and prayerfully partner with you. Support raising can be an opportunity for you to grow in faith by trusting God to provide. It also gives your community the opportunity to join in what God is doing.
